Beatie blacksmith was established in 1997 and our gallery opened on June 23rd 2006. The gallery features the works made here in the blacksmith shop by John D. Beatie. Here at Beatie blacksmith each forged work is made using heat and hand tools to change the shape and/or texture of the metal. The techniques used to forge iron are thousands of years old but necessary to create one-of-a-kind exciting and pleasing works. We believe by hand forging it gives each piece its own individuality and character.
New works will be added as they are completed.
